POA Law, LLC is a professional corporation for legal assessment. It is the successor to the firm founded by Lcdo. Pedro E. Ortiz Álvarez on January 15, 1990. Originally, his offices were located in the Eurobank building at Ponce, Puerto Rico. In 1994, the firm moved to Ponce's historic zone in which it still occupies two historic structures. By 2001, the firm opened the San Juan office on the metropolitan area at O'Neill Street.

Currently, all of the firm attorneys have been admitted to the Puerto Rico Supreme Court, some to the Federal Court of the Puerto Rico district and other Federal Courts in the United States. Various attorneys are admitted to the Appeals Court on Boston's First Circuit and other Circuits; others at the United States Supreme Court.
